Wellness Wednesday brought the people of ARC together

Wellness Wednesday was organized at Keilaniemi’s ARC, bringing movement, recovery, and an opportunity to connect with others working in the same building into the workday.
Throughout the day, various stations featured well-being activities organized in collaboration with companies operating within ARC and invited event partners. People could participate according to their own schedules and interests.
The program included yoga, spinning on the helipad, well-being assessments, a dedicated quiet room for recovery, a Red Cross (SPR) station, and other engaging activities.
Well-being in the middle of the workday
Wellness Wednesday demonstrated that well-being can be effectively supported even in the middle of the busy workday. It can be a short guided stretch, a moment to pause, checking in on your stress levels, or trying something completely new amidst the daily routine.
When well-being services and activities are integrated directly into the work environment, participating doesn’t require a separate commute or a big decision. Even a short break interrupts prolonged sitting, refreshes the mind, and serves as a reminder of the importance of recovery.
Shared activities bring a welcome change to the routine
In participant feedback, the day was described as a pleasant break from the usual workday. This was also reflected in the atmosphere: the various stations were busy with participants, and natural connections were formed throughout the event.
The snacks served in the co-working area also provided a great opportunity to explore the shared spaces.
The well-being day was an excellent example of what can be achieved together at ARC. You don’t have to organize everything alone: events can be held around a shared theme on the same day, and companies’ own internal content can complement the overall experience.
